- ut viderem poma convallium
- et inspicerem si floruisset vinea
- et germinassent mala punica.
English translation
- I went down into the garden of nuts,
- to see the fruits of the valleys,
- and to look if the vineyard had flourished,
- and the pomegranates budded.
