- Danket dem Herren,
- denn er ist sehr freundlich,
- une seine Güte währet ewiglich,
- der allem Fleisch sein Speise gibt,
- der dem Vieh sein Futter gibt,
- den jungen Raben, die ihn anrufen.
- Der Herr hat nicht Lust an der Stärke des Rosses
- noch Wohlfallen an jemands Gebeinen,
- der Herr hat Gefallen en deden die ihn führchten
- und auf seine Güte warten.

- Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God [...]
- He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
- He delighteth not in the strength of the horse:
