Da mihi, Domine, sedium tuarum assistricem sapientam.
Mitte illam de coelis sanctis tuis et a sede magnitudinis tuae;
ut mecum sit et mecum laboret, ut sciam quid acceptum sit apud te.

Give me, O Lord, the wisdom that sitteth by thy throne.
Send it out from thy holy heavens and from the throne of Thy greatness;
So that it be with me and work with me, that I may know what is acceptable with thee.
