German text Christ fuhr gen Himmel. Was sandt er uns hernieder? Den Tröster, den Heiligen Geist, zu Trost der armen Christenheit. Halleluja! Des solln wir alle frölich sein, Christ will unser Trost sein, Halleluja!

English translation Christ rose to heaven. What has He sent to us below? The Spirit to comfort us here, to comfort us poor Christians all. Halleluja! For that we all rejoice and sing. Christ shall be our comfort. Halleluja!
