Description: Published in Ingalls' Christian Harmony, 1805, pp. 52-53, for three voices: Treble-Tenor-Bass. Stanzas by John Newton, 1779, entitled Prayer for a revival, with ten stanzas. Chorus by an unknown author, apparently first published in Hymns and Spiritual Songs for the Use of Christians, Philadelphia (1803), where it is the chorus to Joseph Hart's Come, ye sinners, poor and wretched.
