The Sixth Sunday of Easter is also known the 5th Sunday after Easter Domenica V. post Pascha, Vocem jucuntitatis, after the introit, or Rogate from the custom of replacing it with a Rogation Sunday.
In the three-year Lectionaries the Gospel of John 16:23-30 (Jesus speaks of the Father) is replaced by John 14:15-21 (the Spirit of Truth, Year A), John 15:9-17 ("the servant is not greater than the master", Year B), and John 14:23-29 ("Let not your hearts be troubled", Year C).
