Italian text Cantiam la bella Clori! Clori cantiam, che dai celesti cori portò l'altero e non più visto esempio di beltà, di valor degna di tempio, e d'immortali onori. Cantiam la bella Clori! Cantiamo la leggiadra e vaga Ninfa, nostro ben, nostra gloria e nostra duce, in cui tanta dal Cielo e sì divina grazia splend' e riluce ch'infiamma i nostri cori. Viva la bella Clori!

English translation Let us sing of beautiful Clori! Of Clori let us sing, who from celestial choirs was brought, a noble and ne'er seen before example of beauty, of valor, worthy of a temple and of immortal honors. Let us sing of the lovely Clori! Sing of the graceful and gracious Nymph, in whom so much of Heaven and such divine grace shines and radiates that it inflames our hearts. Long live beautiful Clori! Translation by Allen Garvin
