Latin text Version 1 Beata sei Tu che hai creduto, |
English translation Version 1 Version 2 Blessed art thou, O virgin Mary, who didst believe the Lord; what the Lord said to thee shall be fulfilled in thee. For out of thee was born the Lord Christ our Saviour, who intercedes for us with the Lord our God. Alleluia. Version 3 Blessed are you, O Virgin Mary, who gave birth to God; who believed that all has been fulfilled in you that was said to you: behold, you have been raised up above the choirs of angels. O pray for us now to the Lord your God. Alleluia.
