Edition notes: Edited from the Baldwin Partbooks with halved note values. Transposed up a fourth from the 'low clef' pitch so that the voice compasses match those usual for Tudor church music. Plainsong verses and Sheppard's missing cantus firmus supplied from the 1520 printed Sarum antiphonale. A critical commentary is provided.
