User talk:Carlos/DPL queries

Interesting listing with 42 pages today. I found it when searching pages with words "Category:Sheet music" but which aren't works pages.

1. Many of the pages listed here are "collections" or "larger works". We need both categories. Such pages have no score on them except those that can be found on the "smaller works" pages they mention.
2. Others pages listed here lack of category Sheet music just by mistake
3. Anyway, all the pages categorized as secular or sacred should be part of Category:Sheet music.
4. What about those that are categorized as Sheet music but neither sacred nor secular?

Hi Claude, sometimes even I forget about these sub-pages created by me. :)

1. The problem here is that some of these "larger works" pages do have links to sheet music in them, and their authors are sometimes not willing to remove the links.
2. Good catch, these ought to be corrected.
3. But what about pages with a single edition that has been posteriorly withdrawn? These pages no longer have "sheet music".
4. Good question! These should be fixed also, by including them in one or both of these categories. I'll create a query to see what comes up. PS: If the template Genre is present, then these pages will be included in the maintenance categories Works with invalid genre (if the genre field is empty) or Unknown genre (if this field has an invalid genre or has "Unknown" as its value).
