Dear Edward,

I see that you once upon a time had this Taverner mass up on CPDL; having done a little research around other discussion topics, I see that you've taken a lot of scores down due to copyright infingement on the continent - what a great shame, but I fully understand your doings.

I'm writing to request a copy of this Taverner mass, or even in fact see whether you'd be interested in reposting the work. I am a teacher of Pre-U (the new A Level if you're unfamiliar) music and the Byrd 4 part mass is on the syllabus as the set work amongst the larger topic English Church Music, 1530 - 1610. As I'm sure you'll know, the influence of Taverner's Mean Mass upon the Byrd 4 part is rather large; for such an unknown work, it's tricky to get hold of a score and hence my request of it from you. If you're able to consider sending the work to me, that would be very kind indeed.
