Change in title

This page's title has been changed recently. I think it should remain as the Latin "Gloria". Does anyone else have an opinion? Bobnotts 09:27, 21 November 2006 (PST)

Done ... The original text is Latin, and the English title is misspelled ... moved the "Prase the Lord" (sic) back to Gloria. ChuckGiffen 13:53, 21 November 2006 (PST)

Translation accuracy

The English and the German text are not faithful translations of the Latin original. The Latin text says: "et in terra pax hominibus bonae voluntatis", which means "and peace on earth to the men of good will."
This is normally in the Protestant churches translated as: peace on earth, goodwill towards men. This might be the translation of the original Greek, but it is surely not of the Latin text. This would be the translation of "et in terra pax, hominibus bona voluntas". The good will (bona voluntas) is, however, in Genitive in the Latin text (bonae voluntatis) so it is "men of good will."
