Is seems we have an issue here too. Many of the canons included in this compilation are by 20th century composers, some still alive. A few examples: Herbert Beuerle, Jos Wuytack, Ad Heerkens, Jacques Horde, Lukas van der Vegt, Paul Kickstat (the list goes on, I stopped in the middle of the pdf). They may have released the canons in PD, but how can we be sure? —Carlos Email.gif 12:00, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Shouldn't individual canons be listed on composer pages?

This is a collection. Shouldn't canons which have known composers be listed on composer pages? Should they also have their own works pages? At least one already is so listed and has a works page - Sanctus (Jacobus Clemens non Papa), since another edition already exists. Using the br template in such a case fouls up the corresponding Compositions by Composer category cocunt and state of (in)completeness. -- Chucktalk Giffen 14:26, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Tex/pmx format?!

This seems to be a marvellous collection and obviously was a lot of work to compile it so nicely. But why are the music files in tex/pmx format only..? I'm not at all a computer illiterate, but this MusixTex prog appears to work in a DOS environment only (except for Linux) and is hence completely obsolete. I tried to find a tex -> mid converter, but to no avail, the few apps available seem to be as complicated as the program itself, if not worse. Could any kind soul point me to a simple tex -> converter? Or convert them into the standard mid format for the CPDL community? TIA, Timo 13:59, 21 December 2011
