Manuscript post 1445 in the Trent codices, tr92, no. 92-212
Description: Transcribed from the Trent manuscripts tr87 and tr92. The time signatures, notes' values accidentals and colourings are as in the manuscript. The initial time signature is missing in all the voices, the “tempus perfectum diminutum” has been assumed from the context and the perfect breves, the perfect brevis rests and the imperfect longæ are dotted. In the second part the Tenor’s notes values are halved so that the time signature of the Superius and the Contratenor should be the “tempus imperfectum diminutum”. The coloured notes are either hemiolæ or in “proportio sesquialtera” (3 vs. 2). The notes' values within the "ligaturæ" are as follows: the left upstemmed notes are semibreves - the unstemmed notes are breves - the right downstemmed notes are longæ. The “musica ficta” suggestions are in the MIDI and the MusicXML files.

Sancta Maria, non est tibi similis
orta in mundo in mulieribus
Florens ut rosa, flagrans sicut lilium,
ora pro nobis, sancta Dei genitrix.
