Salve mater gracie
mater clemencie
rosa dulcoris
flos et gemma nymphularis
lilium puritatis
vas celestis gracie.
Ave caudens splendor celse trinitatis
corona astitatis
templum domini reorum
consolatrix, spes, refugium;
Gaude regina cælorum domina
gaude virgo benedicta;
te laudamus, te que glorificamus,
gerulam verbi, ferulam regni
virginum primulam;
dignare genitrix nobilis
nos intueri oculis misericordie.
Vale vox accelera
tu lux in tenebris
inferni vinculam
dira a nobis propelle
eterni regis premia
largiter elargire.
Eya, eya, nos exaudi.

English.png English translation

Mother of compassion,
we beseech you in your grace.
O rose of sweetness,
flower and jewel of all womankind!
Lily of lilies,
pure and full of heavenly grace!
Shining star and light of the celestial Trinity,
a sparkling crown of chastity,
consoler, our hope and our refuge,
and the Mother to our Lord!
Praise the Queen of the heavens, serene
in Her splendid state of beatitude!
Lo! We praise you, you whom we laud and extol,
radiant vessel, Virgin especial,
Mother and Lady pure!
Our noble mother, consider us worthy
to be regarded in the eyes of grace and clemency!
Light in darkest dark, abide,
take not your voice away!
Propel us yet from
infernal affliction and torment!
And graciously award and bestow
the eternal King's rewards!
Eya, hear our humble plea!
