And mighty angels robed in white proclaim the Christ arisen!
The stone shall no more bar the door
The empty tomb hath witness borne
Of victory in our living Lord, proclaiming Christ arisen!
He lives! He lives, no more to die
And by his power all men shall rise
Death is overcome in Christ, the Resurrection and the Life
Greater tidings none can tell
He hath loosed the chains of hell
Lift up your voice, oh Israel, proclaim the Christ arisen!
