Edition notes: Performance edition by William Evans, 2015 after the transcription by Dr Carl Proske in Selectus Novus Missarum (No. 2), Regensburg: Friedrich Pustet, 1856. Proske transcribed this score from the Vatican Library, Altaemps collection, Codex MS No. 2926 - Ottoboniana and a manuscript from the Collegium Romanum, Varia Musica sacra ex Bibliotheca Altempsiana, jussu D. Joa. Angeli Dulcis ab Altaemps collecta. Credo omitted, note values halved, tempo markings and rests at phrase ending are editorial. Benedictus is indicated by Proske for SSAB but may be performed as SATB with discretion.
