36:1 Miserere nostri Deus omnium, [et respice nos,] et ostende nobis lucem miserationum tuarum:
36:2a et immitte/Emitte timorem tuum super Gentes, quae non exquisierunt te, ut cognoscant quia non est Deus nisi tu[, et enarrent magnalia tua].
36:3 Alleva manum tuam super Gentes alienas/et advenas, ut videant potentiam tuam.
36:4 Sicut enim in conspectu eorum sanctificatus es in nobis, sic in conspectu nostro magnificaberis in eis,
36:5 ut/et cognoscant te, sicut et nos cognovimus quoniam non est Deus praeter te Domine.
36:6 Innova signa, et immuta mirabilia.
36:7 Glorifica manum tuam, et brachium dextrum.
36:8 Excita furorem, et effunde iram.
36:9 Tolle/Deprime adversarium nostrum, et afflige inimicum.
36:10 Festina tempus, et memento finis[, ut enarrent mirabilia tua].

Heer, God van alles wat bestaat, ontferm u over ons,
boezem alle volken angst voor u in.
Hef uw hand op tegen vreemde volken,
laat hen uw macht ervaren.
Aan hen hebt u door ons uw heiligheid getoond,
toon zo door hen aan ons uw macht.
Laten zij u erkennen, zoals ook wij erkennen, Heer,
dat er geen God is buiten u.
Hernieuw de tekenen, herhaal de wonderen,
toon de grote macht van uw hand en rechterarm.
Wek uw woede op, stort uw toorn uit,

36:1 Have mercy upon us, O God of all, and behold us, and shew us the light of thy mercies:
36:2 And send thy fear upon the nations, that have not sought after thee: that they may know that there is no God beside thee, and that they may shew forth thy wonders.
36:3 Lift up thy hand over the strange nations and newcomers, that they may see thy power.
36:4 For as thou hast been sanctified in us in their sight, so thou shalt be magnified among them in our presence,
36:5 That/And they may know thee, as we also have known thee, that there is no God beside thee, O Lord.
36:6 Renew thy signs, and work new miracles.
36:7 Glorify thy hand, and thy right arm.
36:8 Raise up indignation, and pour out wrath.
36:9 Take away the/our adversary, and crush the enemy.
36:10 Hasten the time, and remember the end, that they may declare thy wonderful works.
36:12 Crush the head of the princes of the enemies/unjust that say: There is no other beside us/you.

Könyörülj rajtunk, mindenség Istene,
