English translation The leaves again are bursting, The sky is clear and blue, To earth they give a greeting, By May espoused anew, The woods are green, and green the plains, To Paradise the world attains. In May-time, in May-time. Through every window enters The warm and fragrant air, The flowers unfold, rejoicing The golden light to share.
