Biography
John Sheeles was one of the original subscribers to the Royal Society of Musicians on 28 August 1739. He was a harpsichordist and composer at the "Little Theatre" (the Haymarket). The Catalogue of Printed Music at the British Museum lists a few of Sheeles's songs, published between 1720 and 1730 or later. He was active in the Royal Society until at least 1755.
