Ich hebe meine Augen auf zu den Bergen, von den mir Hilfe kommet,
Meine Hilfe kommt vom Herren, der Himmel und Erde gemacht hat.
Er wird deinen Fuß nicht gleiten lassen,
und der dich behütet schläft nicht.
Siehe, der Hüter Israel schläft noch schlummert nicht.
Der Herre behütet dich, der Herre ist dein Schatten,
der Herre, über deiner rechten Hand,
daß dich des Tages die Sonne nicht steche,
noch der Mond des Nachtes.
Der Herre behüte dich für allen Übel.
Er behüte deine Seele,
der Herre behüte deinen Ausgang
und deinen Eingang von nun an,
von nun an bis in Ewigkeit.
