Help:Banners
From ChoralWiki
CPDL's banner system is based on system messages, ie. pages in the MediaWiki namespace that contain all the necessary information to display the banners. These pages can only be changed by an administrator. Up to 3 banners can be displayed at CPDL's left sidebar, which are currently being used to advertise partner sites that sponsor CPDL or are affiliated with it.
Description of the settings
| Name | Description |

| alttext | The short text (tooltip) that "pops up" when a user's mouse hovers over the image. |
| headingtext | The title that appears above the banner box. |
| imgsrc | The URL of the banner image. The image should be approximately 146 pixels wide and may be external or local. In the latter case the syntax {{filepath:image.jpg}} can also be used. |
| text | An optional description to be displayed below the image. |
| textstyle | Defines the general attributes of the text, as font size and background color. It can also be used to define whether the text block is displayed or not, by adding either "display:block" (=show text) or "display:none" (=hide text) to its content. |
| style | Defines whether the whole banner is displayed or not. It can be either "display:block" (=show banner) or "display:none" (=hide banner). |
| url | The URL of the external site. |
