Born: 24 May 1610

Died: 15 June 1677

Biography Giovanni Batista Chinelli was an Italian composer. He was appointed as maestro di cappella and organist at Parma Cathedral, but with interruptions in Venice and Ferrara. His legacy is mainly spiritual works, written in an up-to-date concertato style, sometimes including strings.
