Description: The World Composers database contains over 43,000 names of people who have written music and had it performed. If there is a written record of that performance, then the composer's name is likely to be listed there, together with some basic biographical details. The database is updated on a daily basis. The site also features an Anniversary Finder engine that searches over the last 500 years, divided into 50 year intervals. It searches on the exact date and on the year.
