Original text

English.png English translation

I want to sing praise of the noble dame
In whom the heavens all their treasures frame
With all their gifts most beautiful and rich.
She has a fine spirit,
She has a noble wit,
She has in short all that nature
E’er combined as beauty in a creature.
So let’s ne’er cease to sing sweet Catherine’s praise
Exalting to the skies in divine lays.
