1. Selig ist der gepreiset/ Der Gott vor augen hält/
Sich seiner weg befleisset/ Davon auch nicht abfelt/
Denn du wirst dich wol nehren/ Mit arbeit deiner hand/
Gott wird dir glück bescheren/ Und segnen deinen stand.
2. Dein weib gleich einer reben/ In deinem hauß wird seyn/
Der seine frucht thut geben/ Zu seiner zeit von wem/
Dein kinder wirstu sehen/ Zu rings umb deinen tisch/
Nach einer reyen stehen/ Gleich wie ein ölzweig frisch.
3. Das seynd die schönen gaben/ Die Gott dem menschen giebt/
Die ihn in ehren haben/ Von den er wird geliebt/
Er wird dich benedeyen/ Aus Sion[/] und der stadt/
Jerusalem verleyhen/ Bey deinem leben gnad.
4. Du wirst auch endlich sehen/ Kindskinder und dazu/
Israels sachen stehen/ In gutem fried und ruh.
