Audi dulcis amica mea,
auribus percipe verba oris mei.
Nigra es sed formosa,
et macula non est in te,
ideo amore tuo langueo,
et quia tribulor ad te confugio
dextera mea amplexabitur te.

English translation

Listen, my sweet lover,
prick up your ears to the words of my mouth.
You are dark, yet beautiful,
and there is no spot in you,
wherefore I am sick for your love,
and because I suffer I shall flee to you,
and my right arm shall embrace you.
